At 626 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles west of Lubbock International Airport, or 6 miles north of
Lubbock, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Lubbock, Lubbock International Airport, Texas Tech University,
Downtown Lubbock, and New Deal.
