Details

At 800 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Wishek to 5 miles north of Venturia to
Greenway. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Wishek, Ashley, Lehr, Venturia, Green Lake, and Danzig.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
