Details

At 623 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Buckner to Lake Lotawana to near Cleveland
to near Greeley. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Kansas City, Overland Park, Independence, Lee’s Summit, Blue Springs,
Leawood, Raytown, Grandview, Belton, Raymore, Grain Valley,
Harrisonville, Pleasant Hill, Oak Grove, Paola, Spring Hill, Odessa,
Greenwood, Higginsville, and Peculiar.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 12 and 52.
Interstate 470 between mile markers 3 and 16.
Interstate 49 between mile markers 141 and 182.
