Details
At 258 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 11 miles north of Panhandle to 4 miles
northwest of Bushland. Movement was southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Amarillo, Dumas, Canyon, Borger, Panhandle, Fritch, Stinnett, Lake
Tanglewood, Sanford, Bushland, Valley De Oro, Washburn, Boys Ranch,
Wildorado, Pringle, Mescalero Park, Four Way, Masterson, Lake
Meredith, and Timbercreek Canyon.
This includes the following highways…
Interstate 27 between mile markers 109 and 123.
Interstate 40 between mile markers 41 and 100.
