Details
At 638 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles south of Harrison to Pine Ridge
Estates. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Lingle, Fort Laramie, Pine Ridge Estates, Prairie Center, Jay Em,
Agate Fossil Beds National Monument, Fort Laramie National Historic
Site, and Hwy 85 At Dry Rawhide Creek.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska…and southeastern and east central
Wyoming.
