Details

At 337 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Umbarger to 4 miles
southwest of Wayside to 5 miles east of Brice. Movement was south at
15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Amarillo, Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Mescalero Park, Buffalo Lake,
Dawn, Wayside, Umbarger, Wildorado, Palo Duro Canyon, and Timbercreek
Canyon.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 27 between mile markers 91 and 116.
Interstate 40 between mile markers 41 and 51.
