At 445 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms 6
miles west of Claude, moving south at 10 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Amarillo, Panhandle, Claude, Washburn, and Pantex.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 76 and 104.
