Details

At 457 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hart Ranch, or 7 miles south of Rapid City, moving southeast at 30
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Southern Rapid City, Caputa, Farmingdale, Thompson Butte, Black
Gap, Hart Ranch, Reptile Gardens and Bear Country.
