Details

At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Balmorhea State Park, or 20 miles south of Toyah, moving north at 25
mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Balmorhea, Balmorhea State Park, and Toyahvale.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 10 between mile markers 194 and 207.
Interstate 20 between mile markers 8 and 16.
