Details
At 655 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Stuart, or 18 miles east of Bassett, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
O’Neill, Atkinson, Stuart, and Emmet.
This includes the following highways…
Highway 20 between mile markers 273 and 309.
Highway 281 between mile markers 182 and 184.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
