Details

At 527 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Houstonia, or near Sweet Springs, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Sweet Springs and Houstonia.

This includes Interstate 70 in Missouri between mile markers 71 and
83.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
central Missouri.
