Winds of 40 to 50 mph will be possible this afternoon as rain
comes to an end across southern Wisconsin. This appears to be a
wake low situation where winds can be gusty for up to an hour
after the rain comes to an end. Platteville and other weather
stations in southwest Wisconsin have gusted to 47 mph already.

Also, random lightning strikes will be possible within the area of
light to moderate rain as it moves through this afternoon. As of
2:30pm, the leading area of this rain generally ran from Fond du
Lac down to Janesville and is moving east.
