Details
At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles northwest of Modoc to 12 miles west of
Shallow Water. Movement was east at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph, blowing dust, and dry lightning
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Blowing dust could locally reduce
visibility. Dry lightning leading to grassland fires.

Modoc around 500 PM CDT.
Other locations in the path of these storms include Scott City.
