Details

At 332 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Hawk Springs Reservoir, or 24 miles south of Torrington, moving
northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
La Grange, Hubbard Hill, Hawk Springs Reservoir, Stegall, Hawk
Springs State Recreation Area, Wycross, and Hawk Springs Campground.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for the Panhandle
of Nebraska.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
the Panhandle of Nebraska…and southeastern Wyoming.
