Details

At 1000 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Grey Goose to near Pierre to 8 miles southeast
of Wendte. Movement was east at 45 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Pierre, Fort Pierre, Blunt, Spring Creek Rec Area, Harrold, Grey
Goose, Cedar Creek Rec Area, Rousseau, Joe Creek Rec Area, Oahe
Mission Rec Area, Canning, Wendte, Chantier Creek Recreation Area,
Overlook Rec Area, Van Metre, Lake Sharpe, West Shore Rec Area, West
Bend Rec Area, Degrey Rec Area, and northwestern Lower Brule
Reservation.
