Special Weather Statement issued October 1 at 3:07PM CDT by NWS Aberdeen SD
Details
Some of the coolest temperatures of the season so far will be
possible overnight across portions of northeast South Dakota and
west central Minnesota. The combination of clear to partly cloudy
skies, light winds and a dry air mass will lead to overnight lows
dipping to the mid to upper 30s. These conditions will lead to the
potential of patchy to areas of frost by daybreak Friday. The
best chances for seeing frosty conditions will be across the far
northeast corner of South Dakota and west central Minnesota where
skies will remain clear for a longer period of the overnight.
