Details

At 430 PM MDT/530 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles west of
Scott State Lake to 8 miles northeast of Leoti to 8 miles east of
Tribune to 8 miles north of Coolidge. Movement was south at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Leoti around 535 PM CDT.

Landspout tornadoes can form with a developing thunderstorm before
rain, hail, and even thunder is observed. Landspout tornadoes are not
usually associated with a wall cloud and are often difficult to
detect with weather radar.
