Details
At 1223 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles north of Whitman, or 31 miles northwest of Mullen, moving
southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup River,
Speckel Meir Lake, Sevenmile Hill, and Hire.
