Details

At 739 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 20
miles southwest of Medicine Lake, or 35 miles southeast of Gordon,
moving north at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Medicine Lake, Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River, Intersection
of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, and Highway 61 crossing the Snake
River.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 188 and 223.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
