Details

At 537 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles southeast of Barstow, or 13 miles east of Pecos, moving north
at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Monahans, Wink, Thorntonville, Grandfalls, Barstow, Pyote, Wickett,
Toyah Lake, Coyanosa, Imperial Reservoir, Roy Hurd Memorial Airport,
Monahans Sandhills State Park, Royalty, B F Goodrich Testing Track,
Imperial, Winkler County Airport, Cordona Lake, and Fort
Stockton-Pecos County Airport.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 10 between mile markers 264 and 276.
Interstate 20 between mile markers 44 and 97.
