Details

At 845 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Lanesboro to near Mabel to near Decorah.
Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Spring Grove and Mabel around 850 AM CDT.
Caledonia and Houston around 900 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Choice, Hesper,
Highlandville, Quandahl, Riceford, Bluffton, Locust, Sattre,
Newhouse, and Eitzen.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
