Details
At 524 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
New Fairview, or 10 miles northeast of Briar, moving southeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Flower Mound, Azle, Trophy Club, Decatur, Briar, Eagle Mountain,
Roanoke, Pecan Acres, Argyle, Justin, Reno, Northlake, Pelican Bay,
Rhome, Haslet, New Fairview, Aurora, Boyd, Paradise, and Corral City.
This includes Interstate 35W between mile markers 66 and 77.
