Details

At 1214 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles southwest of St. Ansgar to Eagle Lake.
Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 45 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Mason City, Garner, Nora Springs, Manly, Sheffield, Rockwell, Clear
Lake, Mason City Municipal Airport, Ventura, Klemme, Thornton,
Plymouth, Fertile, Meservey, Grafton, Hanlontown, Alexander,
Swaledale, Rock Falls, and Goodell.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 174 and 204.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
