Details
At 421 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles southeast of
Elbert to 9 miles northeast of Crystal Falls. Movement was north at
15 mph.
HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of Young,
northeastern Stephens and northwestern Palo Pinto Counties, including
the following locations… Eliasville, Ivan, Newcastle, Padgett,
Jean, Murray, Loving, and South Bend.
