Details

At 235 PM MDT/335 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of
strong thunderstorms over St. Francis, moving west at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Yuma
County in northeastern Colorado and southern Cheyenne Counties in
northwestern Kansas, including the following locations… Hale,
Wheeler, and Idalia.

This includes Highway 385 between mile markers 207 and 210, and
between mile markers 212 and 226.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
