Northeastern Mississippi County in southeastern Missouri…
Eastern Scott County in southeastern Missouri…

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 416 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Cairo, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near…
Cairo, Mounds, and Mound City around 420 PM CDT.
Barlow around 430 PM CDT.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 57 in Illinois between Mile Markers 1 and 6.
Interstate 57 in Missouri between Mile Markers 17 and 21.
