Western Sanborn County in east central South Dakota…
Northeastern Aurora County in south central South Dakota…
Southeastern Jerauld County in central South Dakota…

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 441 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles south of Lane, or 18 miles north of Plankinton,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
