* Tornado Warning for…
South central Cherry County in north central Nebraska…
Northeastern Hooker County in west central Nebraska…
Northwestern Thomas County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 1230 AM CDT/1130 PM MDT/.

* At 1201 AM CDT/1101 PM MDT/, a severe thunderstorm capable of
producing a tornado was located near Seneca, or 8 miles southeast
of Mullen, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near…
Seneca around 1205 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Norway, Kelso, and Giant Hill.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 189 and 205.
Highway 83 between mile markers 156 and 162.
