South central Clayton County in northeastern Iowa…
* Until 300 PM CDT.
* At 217 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Edgewood, or 12 miles northeast of Manchester,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
south central Clayton County, including the following locations…
Fairview, Camp C.S. Klaus, Garber, Wood, Elkport, Osterdock, and
Millville.
