The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Southeastern Clinton County in east central Iowa…

* Until 900 AM CDT.

* At 829 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Malone, or 12 miles west of Clinton, moving
southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near…
Clinton, Camanche, Low Moor, Elvira, Rock Creek Park, Folletts,
Clinton Municipal Airport, Rock Creek Marina and Campground, and
Malone around 835 AM CDT.
