The National Weather Service in North Platte has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Central Grant County in west central Nebraska…

* Until 930 PM MDT.

* At 852 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 12 miles southwest of Hyannis, or 21 miles northwest of
Arthur, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near…
Hyannis around 920 PM MDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Pratt
Lake.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 2 between mile markers 141 and 147.
Highway 61 between mile markers 144 and 160.
