Southwestern Barton County in central Kansas…

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Great Bend,
moving northeast at 20 mph. This warning replaces the previous
Severe Thunderstorm Warning.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Mesonet. At 701 PM, 77 mph wind gusts were reported
at Great Bend Municipal Airport.

IMPACT…Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Great Bend, Hoisington, and Great Bend Airport.
