Details
At 1030 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Grinnell to 7 miles
south of Gove. Movement was northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Grainfield and Gove around 1035 PM CDT.
Park around 1040 PM CDT.
Quinter around 1050 PM CDT.
This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 76 and
112.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
