At 248 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Merritt Reservoir, or 20 miles southwest of Valentine, moving south
at 25 mph.

HAZARD…Nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include…
Merritt Reservoir.

This includes Highway 97 between mile markers 94 and 127.
