Details

At 416 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 8 miles north of Kirkland to 5 miles southeast
of Tulia. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Childress, Tulia, Memphis, Silverton, Turkey, Caprock Canyon State
Park, Happy, Quitaque, Vigo Park, Cee Vee, South Plains, Kirkland,
Claytonville, Mackenzie Reservoir, Brice, Valley Schools, Flomot,
Tell, Northfield, and Estelline.
