Details

At 500 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Kirkland to 3 miles east
of South Plains. Movement was southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Childress, Floydada, Paducah, Matador, Turkey, Lockney, Quitaque, Cee
Vee, South Plains, Kirkland, Dougherty, Swearingen, Valley Schools,
Flomot, Tell, Northfield, Delwin, Chalk, Hackberry, and Roaring
Springs.
