* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Cherry County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 620 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Merriman, or
19 miles south of Martin, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Merriman and Highway 61 Crossing The Niobrara River.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 20 between mile markers 125 and 145.
Highway 61 between mile markers 210 and 230.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
