Warning for the following rivers in Texas…
Sister Grove Creek Near Blue Ridge affecting Collin County.
* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Sister Grove Creek near Blue Ridge.
* WHEN…From this evening to Saturday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 27.0 feet, Moderate out of banks flooding can be
expected. Farm and ranch interests near the creek will be
moderately flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 15.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage this
evening to a crest of 25.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It
will then fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
– Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet.
– Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
Instructions
Do not drive cars through flooded areas. Caution is urged when
walking near riverbanks.
