* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Southwestern Cherry County in north central Nebraska…

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 555 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 23 miles southwest of Medicine Lake to 22 miles
north of Whitman to 19 miles north of Mullen, moving southeast at
20 mph.

HAZARD…Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Marsh Flat, Speckel Meir Lake, Round Lake, Hire, Whitman Road
crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup River, Sevenmile Hill,
and Intersection of Highway 61 and Survey Valley Road.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 61 between mile markers 167 and 186.
Highway 97 between mile markers 71 and 87.
