Details

At 655 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Simmons, or 11 miles southeast of Tilden, moving
southwest at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central
McMullen and western Live Oak Counties.
