* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northeastern Harding County in northwestern South Dakota…
Northwestern Perkins County in northwestern South Dakota…

* Until 445 PM MDT.

* At 343 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles southeast
of South Cave Hills, or 10 miles northeast of Buffalo, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include…
Buffalo, Ludlow, Ralph, Lodgepole, Ladner, northwestern Slim
Buttes, North Cave Hills, South Cave Hills, Lake Gardner and Table
Mountain.

Instructions

Anyone outdoors should move to shelter inside a well-built structure
and stay away from windows. This storm is capable of producing
widespread damaging winds.
