The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Northern Liberty County in southeastern Texas…
Polk County in southeastern Texas…

* Until 1145 AM CDT.

* At 923 AM CDT, Emergency management reported flash flooding in FM
942 near Seven Oaks, TX, and FM 163 in Tarkington, TX. Between 4
and 16 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2
to 4 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already
occurring.

HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE…Emergency management reported.

IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Cleveland, Livingston, Daisetta, Hardin, Goodrich, Seven Oaks,
Dayton Lakes, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, West Livingston,
Segno, Rye, Romayor, Leggett, Tarkington Prairie, Moss Hill and
Moscow.
