* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…Northwestern Hardin County in southeastern Texas…
* WHEN…Until 700 AM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. It will take
several hours for all the water from these storms to work through
local drainage systems in urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1247 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Saratoga, Thicket, Wildwood, Honey Island, Batson, Votaw and
Village Mills.
