Details
At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Elgin, or 11 miles northwest of Elkader, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Elkader around 525 PM CDT.
Other locations impacted by this storm include Froelich, National,
County Roads B 56 And W 64, Brainard, Giard, County Roads B 56 And X
16, Gunder, St. Olaf, Highway 56 And County W 70, and Highland.
