Southwestern Logan County in west central Nebraska…
McPherson County in west central Nebraska…

* Until 215 AM CDT/115 AM MDT/.

* At 131 AM CDT/1231 AM MDT/, severe thunderstorms were located along
a line extending from 9 miles southeast of Arthur to 19 miles north
of Sarben to near Sutherland, moving northeast at 35 mph.

THESE ARE DESTRUCTIVE STORMS FOR FAR NORTHWEST LINCOLN COUNTY, FAR
NORTHEAST KEITH COUNTY, AND MCPHERSON COUNTY INCLUDING THE
VILLAGE OF TRYON.

HAZARD…80 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated. At 1215 AM MDT, a 78 mph wind gust was
reported 7 miles west of Paxton.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be heavily damaged. Expect
considerable damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles.
Extensive tree damage and power outages are likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Tryon, Sutherland, Ringgold, Bucktail Lake, Coker, Flatts, Big
Lamunyon Flats, O’Fallons, Diamond Bar Lake, Bucktail, and Schnick
Lake.

This includes the following highways…
Highway 92 between mile markers 177 and 226.
Highway 97 between mile markers 6 and 46.
Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 155 and 160.
Highway 83 between mile markers 102 and 108.

Instructions

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
