Details

At 1216 PM CDT /1116 AM MDT/, Doppler radar was tracking an area of
strong thunderstorms 5 miles west of Ree Heights, or 7 miles east of
Highmore, moving northeast at 40 mph. Also, strong thunderstorms were
located near Murdo to Presho to Grey Hill Rec Area.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

The strong thunderstorms will be near…
Ree Heights around 1220 PM CDT.
Polo around 1240 PM CDT.

Instructions

weather conditions.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
