…The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Iowa…

Walnut Creek at Clive I-80/35 affecting Dallas and Polk Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Walnut Creek at Clive I-80/35, or from Little Walnut Creek
to the North Walnut Creek.

* WHEN…From early this morning to this evening.

* IMPACTS…At 9.0 feet, Swanson Blvd is closed from Harbach Blvd
west to NW 94th St due to storm sewer backup. The intersection of
93rd St and Lincoln St is closed also due to storm sewer backup.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1:58 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.4 feet, and rising.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage early
this morning to a crest of 9.8 feet this morning. It will then
fall below flood stage this afternoon.
– Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
