Details

At 343 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hawk Springs State Recreation Area, or 23 miles south of Torrington,
moving northeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Morrill, La Grange, Lyman, Henry, Huntley, Hawk Springs Reservoir,
Stegall, Hawk Springs State Recreation Area, Hawk Springs, Wycross,
Hubbard Hill, and Hawk Springs Campground.

Instructions

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
