Details
At 517 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 9 miles north of Deerfield, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern
Kearny, northwestern Finney and south central Scott Counties.
Instructions
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern and west central Kansas.
