At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Alanreed, or 20 miles northeast of Clarendon, moving north at 15 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include…
Mclean, Lefors, and Alanreed.
This includes Interstate 40 between mile markers 127 and 145.
